Who is eligible for consideration?
The Kuyper Foundation is focused on funding grants to qualified nonprofit 501(c)3 public charities, governmental entities or educational institutions in Pella, Iowa and the surrounding communities.
The Kuyper Foundation does not make grants to individuals other than through approved scholarship programs.
Requests are reviewed as submitted by committee and/or directors of the Foundation semi-annually in July and December. Applications must be received no later than July 1 to be considered at the July meeting. Applications must be received no later than December 1 to be considered in at the December meeting. Grants are usually in the range of $5,000–50,000 and will typically be for no more than 25% of the total cost of the project.
